从30000年这个概念来看，这本书算是很薄了！（1000余页）除了看完会落下腕关节炎症这一坏处之外，这本书真是一本巨有用的工具书！30000年范围内，不分地域，重要的艺术作品都有编入，且严格按照时间顺序排列，十分方便检索及同时期艺术发展对比等。

Phaidon的书总归想看的咯。老伯伯快递了这个超级“PIZZA”来我家。如饥似渴，看完了。好书，强烈推荐。考虑把这本书放在画廊让大家翻阅，不过实在是重。

这是一本真正的艺术史，是真正的艺术、真正的历史，不是什么“艺术的故事”之类的不伦不类的书。 1，艺术、历史、考古的完美结合； 2，没有个人的、主观的观点和看法； 3，艺术品的选择非常均匀：时间上和地理上。属于发烧级的书；而且，字和图片都比较大，易读。
