著者简介

阿瑟·高顿（Arthur Golden），生于美国田纳西州查塔努加（Chattanooga），本科毕业于哈佛大学艺术史系，专攻日本艺术。1980年，获哥伦比亚大学日本史硕士学位，兼修中文。在北京大学进修一个夏季之后，他到东京工作。回到美国后他在波士顿大学获英文硕士学位。目前他与妻子和两个孩子定居马萨诸塞州布鲁克林。《艺伎回忆录》是其发表的第一部长篇小说。

还没看过电影...这本书是美国人将地点设定在京都创作的爱情小说，里面很多美丽细致的风景描写，作者一定用心体会过这美，所以才有书中的那些文字。情节方面就是普通的chronological叙述，可读性挺好的。另外，这封面丑死了。
