DotA中影魔的名字nevermore的齣處，也就是愛倫坡1844年創作的傳世傑作《THE RAVEN》，前後述瞭一位經受失親之痛的男子在孤苦無奈的深夜與一隻烏鴉邂逅的故事，悲愴而憂鬱，全詩烏鴉一共說瞭11聲nevermore，它是烏鴉唯一的話語，既是它的名字，也是它對作者每一次詢問的迴答，代錶敘述者生命中最美好事物的一去不返。 那隻烏鴉，確實十分契閤影魔這個英雄所代錶的晦澀而又冷血的精神內涵，呃，好像說反瞭。。。。
