A beautiful portrait of all kinds of bad faith in love, bad faith of love itself, and the grim yet un-tragic destruction of it. A new light shines through when I learned that Fitzgerald is not Mr. Carraway, but Gatsby himself.

After a week's burden,I finally finished this masterpiece.Scott's wonderful imagination and metaphors are always beyond me.He likes to mix up senses to creat the raffish atmosphere.What I like most is Gatsby's incorruptible dream.He never lets his dream fail him,even the dream is not worth.I just realize how similar I myself with Gatsby.
