评分Using scientific inevitability to explain historical changes is dangerous.
评分幾個月的時間慢慢讀完，刷新瞭世界觀（Literally). 這就是最好的科普書，有理論，有證據，但是寫作風格平易近人，沒有科學基礎的人看起來也不會吃力。因為這本書的研究實在太過根本，即使明白瞭缺陷，人類社會能擺脫幾韆幾百萬年的環境曆史積纍起來的枷鎖嗎？
评分寫得太好瞭！邏輯非常清晰：歐亞大陸的居民因優厚的自然環境而率先發明瞭農業，進而有富餘的食物提供給不從事農業生産的專業人士，如工匠、士兵和官僚，還在與傢畜的接觸中擁有瞭對諸多病菌的免疫力，最終讓歐亞大陸在麵對美洲、大洋洲和撒哈拉以南的非洲的原住民時無往不利，讓從歐亞大陸發源的文明與其後裔成為瞭當今世界的主宰。所謂老天爺賞飯吃，就是如此瞭。#推薦給所有地理愛好者
