金·爱德华兹：生于德州，长于纽约，现为肯德基大学英文系助理教授，常于各地举办写作工作坊，著有短篇小说集《火王的秘密》。《不存在的女儿》是她出版的第一部长篇小说。

评分其實我也不太明白，有的書總是能突然一下紅起來～～
评分很一般。读起来就觉得作者始终憋着一股气，特别刻意的想制造一种压抑一生的大悲，整本书特别多的顿句、短句，希望以此放慢读者的阅读速度，去吸收她想表达的情感。但是感情和文字趋于平面，读起来觉得闷钝，加上很多情节发展出现断层，整体就是行云流水的反面。
