An excellent survey for biblical methods and theories in the postmodern age. Hermeneutics of suspicion, as an antithesis to hermeneutics of faith, brought many challenges to the sacrality of the biblical texts but also open up many opportunities to approaching the texts differently. This is the multivocality of the biblical texts.

對20世紀後30年希伯來聖經研究新方法、新趨勢的綜述與評介。第一章總論。第二章講疑古派（Davies, Thompson, Lemche, Dever, Finkelstein）。第三章講解放神學和後殖民。第四章講女性主義（Trible, Meyers, Fuchs）。第五章講考古發現和迦南宗教。最後一章講聖經神學和後現代。優點是內容和書目都很豐富，是很好的購書指南、閱讀指南和研究指南，作者的觀點非常寬容。缺點是，講到後現代的具體解讀還行，一到後現代理論總括，我隻能不耐煩地快進，所以最後一章後一半基本看不下去。總之，是新理論解讀聖經的很實用的入門書。#隻有齣差纔能讀書

#很薄。沒有學文論完全不造啥叫後現代。講對聖經中曆史的懷疑 可是以真相為目的的曆史不是很晚麼 而且我個人一直很懷疑這種approach有多少意義 也不覺得舊約比荷馬史詩真實多少。講齣埃及記怎麼覺得有點牽強 哪個民族寫自己曆史沒有戰勝外族的橋段？講女性主義說有辯護的有懷疑的 總覺得有時間倒錯的感覺 這應該不是編纂者們考慮的問題吧…
