著者简介

保罗·克利( Paul Klee，1879—1940)，20世纪最具诗意与创造精神的艺术家之一。出生于瑞士，父亲为德裔，母亲为法国与瑞士混血后裔。父母均是音乐家，唯一的姐姐早他三年出生。7岁开始学习小提琴；19岁获高中文凭，前往慕尼黑习画；21岁正式进入美术学院学习雕刻与雕塑。1920—1930年执教包豪斯学院。1940年6月29日病逝。他一生致力于抽象与非具象表现的探究，由观念描述转入视觉，从人物转入大自然与历史，乃至于纯艺术的追求；他借由象征来传达艺术理念，为后世画家树立了一个崭新的典范。
