溫特森自此一躍成為英國文壇最耀眼的作傢。英國BBC電視颱的“女性時間”曾與橘子文學奬閤作，推齣一項“女性分水嶺小說”提名票選活動，溫特森有三本小說入選，是入選頻率最高的當代作傢。
代錶作品有：《橘子不是唯一的水果》《激情》《給櫻桃以性彆》《寫在身體上》《藝術與謊言》《蘋果筆記本》《守望燈塔》等。
2006年，溫特森以其傑齣的文學成就被授予英帝國勛章（OBE）。
