收錄瞭Meier從1999-2003的作品。1970年，理查德·邁耶和邁剋爾·格雷夫斯、查爾斯·加斯米、彼得·艾森曼、約翰·海杜剋這五位建築界新秀大膽的用純白色來做建築物的外觀，他們被稱作白色派（White），或是“紐約五人組”。而隻有Meier把這條路走得最徹底。還是那句話：“白色包含瞭所有顔色。它能最有效反映齣自然的色彩變化：綠草、藍天、鞦葉。由此觀之，白色代錶所有顔色。在建築上，白色最容易以直接清楚的方式，彰顯齣建築物的空間、體量與材料等基本元素。白也讓人更容易覺察透明、半透明與不透明錶麵之間的差異。白可以創造齣建立空間體驗的中性錶麵。”這時期他已經在做橋梁和大樓等公共項目（還發現他的內部設計其實和阿爾托很像，波浪〰️形與流綫型結閤，完全不是外錶方頭方腦的樣子）。
