Since 1937. Merriam-Webster is America's foremost publisher of language-related reference works. The company publishes a diverse array of print and electronic products, including Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary, Eleventh Edition – America's best-selling desk dictionary – and Webster's Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged. Merriam-Webster can be considered the direct lexicographical heir of Noah Webster. In 1843, the company bought the rights to the 1841 edition of Webster's magnum opus, An American Dictionary of the English Language, Corrected and Enlarged. 看的是新版的30单元，难度很大，不过坚持下来，效果不错，人家讲词根词缀不用瞎掰联想什么的，很靠谱，例句和解释也很经典，要重复多看，重要把例句看熟，词汇书必看，基础不好的要谨慎，恐怕会坚持不下去，花费时间会很多，我每个单元都花了j接近3小时....
