One of the best. Research oriented book.

But if so, why reading this book? 」「大多数时候，我不得不去读reference里的原始paper，来理解这本书在讲什么。那为什么还要读这本书？」 >>说这本书好读的我求求各位，讲一下怎么好读，需要什么理论储备。Fradkin的lec、paper和书，我没一个能看得懂。相比之下，Altland那本复杂啰嗦的书也看了很久没什么进展。但小刚的书就能看懂，还感觉很有趣。对于QFT似乎也是这样，Peskin啰哩啰嗦，相反基本短小的书倒是更容易接受一点

当然我没有读完，我只是看了我感兴趣的部分。其结果是，我觉得带着这书和Altland的书可以走遍天下了。与第一版相比，基本就是一本新书，一本以初学者为对象的讲述高端前沿凝聚态理论的书，可读性远远超过文小刚老师的书（这是事实，不是贬低文老师）。

It is hard to comment on this book. This book indeed provides a comprehensive introduction to various topics in strongly correlated electron systems and I do not know any similar books yet. (For example, The book by Altland & Simons is too introductory....
