並非老套的教大傢怎麼發揮創造力成功學的書。反而知識性很強，涉及心理學，神經學，組織行為學，社會學等諸多學科，而且都有專傢采訪，比較靠譜。雖然Bob Dylan那段兒作者承認沒有親自采訪，算是個醜聞，不過整體瑕不掩瑜。

創新，很多時候依靠右腦的快樂運作，但也得依靠左腦的理性分析和固執堅持。靈感枯竭的時候需要停止，讓身體和大腦完全放鬆。壓力會阻礙點子的誕生。不過，抑鬱又在一定程度讓大腦集中，把點子進行到底。要和不同領域的人對話，因為靈感常常來自看似不相關的源頭。有時候忘記自己的所知，完全浸在新的環境裏，或者從外行的視角看世界，會給我們打開另一扇窗口。頭腦風暴並不一直有效，有建設性的評判更能完善一個好主意。團隊協力也非常重要，一個優秀的團隊能讓平庸的個人在一起創造齣非凡的作品。城市和人口密度與創新也密切相關，不過我覺得還是跟城市的氛圍，接受度相關，人的素質相關，中國城市密度那麼高，不見得創新就怎樣。因為教育就是死的，大環境也沒有對創新有相關的支持和鼓勵。至於米國那樣有形形色色各種背景的高技術移民就更沒法比瞭
