This mishmash of anecdotes on creativity is itself a knockoff of Malcolm Gladwell's more intriguing works.

It was a book from my conceptualization class. The biggest takeaway was from the neuroscience perspective. I acquired a deeper and more solid understanding of the connection between how brain functions and its affect on the thought process. Great writing!

创新，很多时候依靠右脑的快乐运作，但也得依靠左脑的理性分析和固执坚持。灵感枯竭的时候需要停止，让身体和大脑完全放松。压力会阻碍点子的诞生。不过，抑郁又在一定程度让大脑集中，把点子进行到底。要和不同领域的人对话，因为灵感常常来自看似不相关的源头。有时候忘记自己的所知，完全浸在新的环境里，或者从外行的视角看世界，会给我们打开另一扇窗口。头脑风暴并不一直有效，有建设性的评判更能完善一个好主意。团队协力也非常重要，一个优秀的团队能让平庸的个人在一起创造出非凡的作品。城市和人口密度与创新也密切相关，不过我觉得还是跟城市的氛围，接受度相关，人的素质相关，中国城市密度那么高，不见得创新就怎样。因为教育就是死的，大环境也没有对创新有相关的支持和鼓励。至于米国那样有形形色色各种背景的高技术移民就更没法比了
