评分可以看做是勒高夫一生治學的一個總結吧，方法上講得比較少，但有幾個點很有意思：比如聖體之於中古時代的隱喻意義，尤其是東西方教會聖體的舉揚和隱蔽程序，很有點開腦洞的感覺。總體感覺，知識分子和銀行商人這兩部分的解讀形成瞭勒高夫對於中世紀的基本理解。斯人已逝，還望後來人。
