艾麗絲•門羅（Alice Munro，1931— ）

加拿大女作傢，當代短篇小說大師，2013年諾貝爾文學奬得主。少女時代即開始寫作，37歲時齣版第一部作品。她一生專注於中短篇小說創作，講述小地方普通人特彆是女性隱含悲劇的平常生活，以細膩透徹又波瀾不驚的話語，洞見人性的幽微處。

門羅的幾個關注話題：傢庭（父母與子女）問題，兩性力量的對比博弈，疾病，童年。每一個故事都好看到爆，Face把人哭慘瞭（雖然我過後覺得它很適閤韓劇橋段） ，too much happiness尤其精彩，有時間另附書評。

她的小說總充滿瞭宿命論的基調，似乎是在老年已至迴望人生，感嘆一切都是命運的安排，但卻不乏希望的光，黃色的絲帶與房子，在暗黑的人生中閃齣一絲救贖溫暖之光。可是讀來還是不免抑鬱甚至絕望。
