艾丽丝•门罗（Alice Munro，1931— ）
加拿大女作家，当代短篇小说大师，2013年诺贝尔文学奖得主。少女时代即开始写作，37岁时出版第一部作品。她一生专注于中短篇小说创作，讲述小地方普通人特别是女性隐含悲剧的平常生活，以细腻透彻又波澜不惊的话语，洞见人性的幽微处。

看完了，又一本门罗，感觉很惆怅，书里两个上了年纪的人的对话：it's absurd, but young people seem unimportant to me. As if they could vanish off the earth and it wound't really matter.另一个回答她：Just the opposite, that's us you're talking about. That's us.
