Everything Japanese is elegant and beautiful. Everything French is vulgar and hypocritical. 她們需要一個有錢而又有品味的日本老先生來validate她們存在的意義。車禍是法國小說裏反復齣現的對無常的闡釋嗎？Or to stop abruptly before life gets too real again? Overall a clever novel due to the interesting characters. (Note when she praises somebody, she calls her an aristocrat or a princess.)

電影大緻還是尊重原著，隻不過為瞭增加畫麵動態，把小女孩Paloma的日記變成瞭攝像機。小說裏不分年紀的友誼、跨越階級和貧富的戀情、還有理想主義與現實主義的對峙，都有打動人的力量。注重自我感受的人很容易代入兩個女主角的情緒，她們或許看上去我行我素甚至有些冷冰冰，但內心深處都渴望被愛被理解，因為文藝青年（少年、中老年）也不過是人。但結局的倉促和殘暴我還是無法接受，大概因為作者無法為自己的命題提齣一個真正的解決方案吧。

今年讀的最差劣的小說, 還好書是從某旅館偷迴來的

1、跟電影不同，小說是雙綫敘事，第一人稱，人物也更多。但各有好處。2、裏麵有多處有關哲學和藝術的深入討論，應該是作者的夫子自道，齣自中老年女文青之口總覺得不太妥帖。3、骨子裏仍然是通俗浪漫小說，結尾的方式尤其如此。4、不知主人公是否是前所未見的典型人物。

17年年底迴國在傢和在飛機上看的。可以說是相當失望吧，不知道在amazon上評分這麼高是不是和女性主題有關係。之前隱隱約約記得說的是兩個女人的事情，可是看到後來，就發現主人公卻是一個日本男性，一齣場就被一種帶有國傢認同感的光環籠罩（齣自我和H的討論）。故事的前2/3始終沒有建立兩個女人的聯係，故事的最後又戛然而止，在邏輯上說不通為什麼女孩會受到如此大的影響。最要不得的是，concierge被描述成飽讀詩書、超有自尊心的女性，但是一和日本人接觸就徹底軟瞭，喪失瞭自我，連說句謝謝都要字斟句酌，為瞭赴約竟然願意穿去世的人的衣服。這個人物塑造太矛盾太失敗瞭。我覺得這種把自己包裝成女權，骨子裏卻是看不起女性，給女性標簽化的東西，纔是最可怕的東西。就好像現在的很多大V，還有我身邊的人一樣。
