When Bruno returns home from school one day, he discovers that his belongings are being packed in crates. His father has received a promotion and the family must move from their home to a new house far far away, where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. 真正意義上讀過的第一本英文原著，學校安排的。原先看過電影，後來纔發現學校安排瞭書，情節和電影差不多，隻是結尾不一樣，書裏結尾父親是很麻木的，更凸顯納粹對人的洗腦。這本書字比較大，難度還行，看書的確能增長詞匯量
