I first met her five weeks after my son Joel died.

At that time, I didn't think there was anything or anyone who could

help me. I hurt all over, in every single part of my life - deeply and

intensely; pain brimmed over under the weight of the single most im-

mense mind- and life-altering experience of my existence.. ~ I had

outlived my child.
