瑪麗·雪萊(1797-1851),英國著名小說傢,因其一八一八年創作的《弗蘭肯斯坦》被譽為科幻小說之母。
好久沒看傳統的plot driven的小說瞭。Frankenstein也是一本我自以為知道全部劇情但其實讓我吃瞭一驚的經典。如果不是liam scarlett編舞的同名英皇芭蕾,我對這本書一點興趣也沒有,但在scarlett的解說下,怪物和Frankenstein的情感都豐富細膩的通過肢體錶現齣來,令淩晨的我險些落下淚來。小說裏Marry Shelly引用丈夫的詩著實可愛,the Ancient Mariner和Paradise Lost的reference很有意思,最戳到我的一點是怪物說神以自己為原型創造瞭人類,而人類以自己為原型卻創造齣瞭怪物。這本書也是這學期英文課的讀物,期待!
評分以貌取人在這裏其實也是正常的事情,感覺並不是在批判或者歌頌哪一方_(:з」∠)_ 比起說是對發展和控製的探討,可能更多的是關於認同與歸屬吧…… 穿插在其中的詩歌好奇妙,古舟子詠裏的信天翁和書裏的怪物好像有種奇妙的聯係 還引用老公的詩,啊呀_(:з」∠)_
