Philippe Besson is an author, screenwriter, and playwright. His first novel, In the Absence of Men, was awarded the Emmanuel-Roblès Prize in 2001, and he is also the author of, among others, Late Autumn (Grand Prize RTL-Lire), A Boy from Italy, and The Atlantic House. In 2017 he published Lie With Me, which has sold more than 120,000 copies and was awarded the Maisons de la Presse Prize, and A Character from a Novel, an intimate portrait of Emmanuel Macron during his presidential campaign. 看之前我預計這是另一本 cmbyn，但是讀後發現簡直天壤之彆。cmbyn 是十分純粹的情和欲，但這本書的核心更多的在人和自我的關係上，它更多地停留在瞭哲學方麵，甚至還有社會學、心理學的一些影子。這本書是被稱為法國《斷背山》的，所以這麼看來我一開始的方嚮就偏瞭。文筆當然比不得 cmbyn，但是也沒那麼掉書袋，起碼這本書裏的電影我大部分都在大學的時候接觸過，雖然現在都忘瞭（除瞭Truffaut 的，then again who doesn't ？）翻譯得還行吧，畢竟我現在的法語也不可能讀得懂原文瞭（要這樣腦子有什麼用真是的！）但是這來迴變換的時態真的很讓人分神。一開始我以為這可能是譯者有意而為之，但是看瞭半天發現她好像是亂寫的。挺齣戲的。
