暴怒（Wrath）是人的原罪，是把对公义的爱护歪曲为复仇和憎恨（-- 但丁），暴怒的宣泄常常在撕裂性的悲剧中戛然而止，可是我们能够无情苛责他们的怒火吗？伊利亚特以阿喀琉斯的暴怒为主题，无法遏制的暴怒令他失去挚爱，哈姆雷特的悲剧则在于暴怒之中多了一份痛苦的内省，在看清一切之后仍无能为力的痛苦，奥菲利亚的自由被控制在僭主和权臣手中，自己却苦于只有亡魂为证，也只有霍拉旭一人的坚定追随，弑君没有证据，隐忍则生死未知，哈姆雷特和奥菲利亚都是可怜的，被王权，父权挟持的人哪里能够有自我可言呢？被欲望填满的人性又怎么能摆脱这些束缚呢？维滕堡是自由启蒙之光，也是哈姆雷特永远无法再回去的地方。最后一幕让王子抢走霍拉旭的毒酒，然后死在他的怀中，可能是莎翁在整部戏中最温情的一笔了吧，毕竟他们两个人才是真爱。
