Multi-faceted actor, stand-up comedian, and writer Jimmy O. Yang is best known for his portrayal of hilarious intern Jian Yang on HBO's Emmy-nominated comedy series Silicon Valley. Born in Hong Kong, Yang made his television debut on the CBS series 2 Broke Girls and his first late-night stand-up appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show, where he received a rare standing ovation. He chronicles a near deportation episode during a college trip Tijuana to finally becoming a proud US citizen ten years later. 挺真诚的讲自己很有趣的经历。美国梦对每个人都有点不太一样。有些事情之前没有想过，也大概就是在美国这样的大熔炉里identity才会变成重要的社会议题，也会跟个人成长这么息息相关。到处做宣传讲的话都一样就有点烦。也不是很认同他以为的美国吧，虽然有点道理可还是觉得肤浅, completely anecdotal

蛮有意思的推荐一边听，时不时的看看Pdf。能感觉他对美帝文化的认同，所以也算是新移民写给美帝的一封情书吧。

挺真诚的，但是一看就是没好好读书的人写的东西。前面讲融入美国文化的部分有些地方比较 cliche 。
