Ijeoma Oluo is a Seattle-based writer, speaker, and Internet Yeller. She’s the author of the New York Times Best-Seller So You Want to Talk about Race, published in January by Seal Press. Named one of the The Root’s 100 Most Influential African Americans in 2017, one of the Most Influential People in Seattle by Seattle Magazine, one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Seattle by Seattle Met, and winner of the of the 2018 Feminist Humanist Award by the American Humanist Society, Oluo’s work focuses primarily on issues of race and identity, feminism, social and mental health, social justice, the arts, and personal essay. 誠然systemic racism是根源，作者並沒有提齣什麼新的觀點，比如Asian American那章就比較令人失望，講得太淺。關於N word的那節，作者關於童年往事的迴憶令人無法完全信服。總之，此書讀起來總有種作者在shouting to your face的感覺。

3-/5 Oluo covers many intriguing, if not well-researched, racial issues but her attempt to bridge gaps quickly turns sour as her writing becomes increasingly divisive, militarised and at times self-contradictory. She grants all POC an immunity pass while, perhaps subconsciously, invalidating all feelings of white people, which only seems naive.
