一本见解独到评价中肯的马克思思想入门书。马克思试图预见未来的自由世界，为人类寻找幸福的终点，却万万没想到野心家们在他的理论名义下制造的却是一场悲剧。

评分很好的Intro。除去准确的理解，Singer对Marx as a philosopher的评价也非常到位。有趣的是Singer在明知Wissenschaft和Science之间的区别的情况下，仍然花了很大篇幅来论证Marxism is not science，从某种程度上而言可见一种误解之深。除此之外，Singer也矫正了其他很多庸俗的误解。目前所见的最佳导读。
