前50%读完，后50%没时间看，只能听完。好友被白人警察枪杀后，作为目击者的16岁Starr如何挣扎在家庭、友情、爱情之中。这本书把racism这个问题放在青少年小说中，加上青少年本身面临的许多麻烦，情感的各种纠结处理的非常好。推荐！我就喜欢Starr这样的女孩子，tough，在矛盾中不断了解自我，不轻易妥协，坚持自己认为值得坚持的，还有，懂得及时和不值得的友情说再见。要是我有女儿一定会努力教育成这样。Starr父母的教育方式也很棒，她和Chris后面简直是言情小说，太甜了。
