This is making me realize just how many of my friends have made racial slurs towards me when I was younger and because I was young I didn’t know but I do now. I was Starr. I know how she feels.

读完有种在black community 潜伏了一段时间的错觉...也头一次了解到像Star这类人群的双重平行时空式人生。一直对young adult 题材无感，但这本的确值得一读。

总体感觉不错，从一个青春期的非裔口吻来写的。但是每一步似乎都在意料之中。

响应黑人运动，不可多得的黑人女孩为主角的书！里面提到drake 等听到真是想笑，各种黑人元素。女主没有太大光环，都是一点一点推进，才有的勇气站出来。白人小男友支持妹子，女主的绿茶朋友真是没法再做朋友了。鼓励大家make a difference
