主角遇到生命危险再反转已经成为标准套路，但是小说本身情节还是很有意思。而且真的金句频出，颇有存在与毁灭的哲学“Creating something requires imagination, vision, but destruction requires nothing, only blindness.”“ Because life was magical and death trivial.”
评分把哈利·霍勒的最新一本探案读完了，对奈斯博有点厌倦。太爱声东击西故弄玄虚地渲染气氛了！残忍的连环杀手也挺没意思的，我想念福尔摩斯和波洛以及马普尔奶奶。看得出他在写法上求突破，把时间线拉得很近，造成一种紧张感。不过也就这样了吧，哈利幸福地结婚了，也就不那么像孤狼了，失去不少魅力。
评分一开始就怀疑幕后黑手了，但还是被中间的烟雾弹迷惑了一下，大多数人物的生活情感都有点让人厌倦了，最鲜活的还是Truls，最后的故意悬念也是老梗，Nesbo肯定是要写到12本，不过12本也够了
