大人的贪婪和小孩的童真高低立判。美好的世界属于天真善良的人。想起微博上一度出现的不管多么美好的动物照片总有人跟帖问能好怎，就和书里面的大人一样，他们都不配有美好的事物。

故事、对白都很简单：四个小人去捉鸟，第4个小人跟鸟打招呼，另外3人赶紧回头：“嘘——我们有个计划。”一、二、三，下网！鸟飞了。周而复始三次，第4个小人拿出面包，小鸟自己过来了，甚至越来越多鸟过来了。前面3人还想着抓鸟，却反被鸟围攻了。每次我夸张地边做动作边读“Shh---we have a plan！”都特别带感，孩子笑死了。寓意也很悠远，算计者总是落空，友善和温暖自然能得人心。第4个小人体型最小，应该象征着纯真的孩子。
