可能是閱讀期待高瞭點吧。英語文筆佳。感覺沒太多新鮮內容。但想一下作為非虛構作品這個題目其實很難寫(畢竟是記者，又不像just one child作者那樣有特彆渠道，隻靠外部信息和官方資料的話你懂的)，7.1分也太低瞭(個人認為至少值8分左右)，改成四星鼓勵吧。

這本書為什麼不能在中國發行，看過就知道，而且一定要看，有什麼他們不想讓你知道的。評論裏那些幸運的獨生子女受益者說不能感同身受，所以不喜歡這本書，隻能說缺乏同理心到極點，發生在彆人身上的不幸就不算發生過，這算不算也是如今道德體係崩塌的一種惡果？

三星半。挺典型的外媒記者報道中國故事的視角，有些臆斷有失偏頗但不明顯，男友提醒我纔看齣來，可能還是閱讀的角度不同。大概因為我還是把它當做故事集來看，而不是紀實文學或者新聞。從外國人的角度看中國還是能發現一些習以為常因而常常忽視的點，有些細節挺動人的，有黑色幽默也有悵然。新聞功底不是特彆好，邏輯混亂，從事實推齣結論的過程不夠有說服力。但我一直不知道新聞報道力求客觀公正究竟算不算僞命題。在網上看到的中文翻譯版，有些翻譯很奇怪，有機會再過一遍原版。因為種種原因國內無法齣版，必須承認，“禁書”一旦被禁確實就加持瞭一些隱性的光環。記住瞭陳星漢和昆明的臨終關懷中心。
