Modleski一反film studies业界对Hitch“厌恶女人”的惯性看法，也不支持Hitch其实在作品里深深同情女人在父权之下的迫害，她总结hitch的态度为thoroughgoing ambivalence. 非常同意。应该是每个研究Hitch或者对Hitchcock感兴趣的影迷的必读书籍吧
