偉大的抒情敘事詩，古典時期的grande folie與elegance的力量很震撼。美與暴力，愛情與仇恨，親情與背叛，矛盾迸發激情。金句不斷，人馬戰役的描寫是全書最好的戰爭描寫。翻譯有點迷，英文翻譯屆喜歡用非常現代的語言，但有點齣戲。
