余华看到挪威航空飞机上的Ibsen头像，就跟一个挪威人抱怨在那个只有毛选和鲁迅全集时代，他是多么的讨厌鲁迅。挪威人说Ibsen是挪威的鲁迅。不过余华和挪威人中年后，都不约而同的回归到这两位先人的怀抱中去。

借标思凡剧社2019版，张力从技术权威与政治权威的冲突，微妙地转移到“多数人的暴力”，再然后是生存（利益）与求真的不协，看起来真理在少数人手里，但这份孤独，却脱离不了血缘及其延伸出来的小镇社会，寄托梦想的“新大陆”，恐怕也是幻想。ibsen在19世纪就洞察到这种纠缠，并集中在一个亦正亦疯的人物上，相当有改编的空间。
