最近片段化读了一些卢梭，感叹其满纸荒唐言，逻辑混乱自不成一体，倒是感情充沛忽悠个底朝天，怪不得罗素提到时他总是充满挖苦与不屑。看到江绪林的书评里说可见卢梭“是个真正的贱民”也是有点意思。怀着一颗八卦心看中文版里给五分好评说神作的那些豆瓣页面里都是充斥着“共产主义好”不知道是不是巧合=P 毕竟感情过于充沛都等同于耍流氓呢

嗯，怎么说呢，觉得自己没被说服。

文中确实不乏名言警句，文笔优美，行云流水，但很多arguments实在买不了。卢梭似乎混淆了（或者没有说明）corruption of morality与military failure之间的联系。把帝国灭亡的责任推到艺术和科学上就算不无道理也难以让人相信是决定因素。另他对自然状态的定义本就争议叠生，颇有些“过去的日子无限美好”的感觉。最后回到社科，没有考虑反事实情形。没有艺术和科学，财色酒贪嗔痴会不会在相同文明文化条件下更加大行其道？最后几段的建议一个社会导向一个个人行为导向，但都有家长式之嫌，用公意的圆圈限制个人的自由选择也非今日主流。对印刷术的消极预言也没有实现。一言概之，有许多可取之处，但核心论点我却无法接受。
