在读这本书之前，完整读过的英文原著只有John Storey的《Cultural Theory and Popular Culture An Introduce》。这本书就是一个文化研究的简史，但其晦涩难懂直接让我断断续续一个多月才读完。不过这本《The Study of Language》却完全没有给人这样的感觉，很轻松半月搞定。（...
