本準備這個月能看完第二部呢結果必然嗬嗬過完春節還能接上第一部的情節咩？

今年看的第一本書。這本書大概買瞭四年瞭，兩年前在英國又買瞭一本，今天纔因為睏在疫區（明早小區封鎖）看完。對我來說，Updike的感情可能太細膩太瑣碎瞭，行文盡量剋製，但用詞又相當誇張，比如用得最多的錶示感情的：frighten, afraid, shock, fear, startle, lopsided, irritated, annoy, repentance. 對於事物的描述經常在極度細緻和輪廓之間遊移：shadow, irises, silhouette, thick/thickness, squint. 但這是我渡過的第一本真正的全知視角的書，能以女性的口吻講述，瞭不起。此外，拖尾式的比喻很像鵬總。what’s eating u?
