评分花了两个月，断断续续，终于读完了。兰登教授出色地展示了如何超越语法、某些过分追求简洁的写作规则，鼓励读者构造长句，从中探寻写作的趣味，逐步建立可以表达“我”和“我所认为的真实”的风格。文中最为令我印象深刻的是关于Cumulative Sentences的解析，兰登把句子比做阶梯，强调句子的层次和流动，让我进一步理解了字句间的节奏。此外，兰登还解构了Suspensive Sentences，为Balanced Sentences正了名。最后一章，鼓励读者开始写作，保持写作，将写作传递下去，让句子活过来，让浪潮流动起来。这对句子的爱，真切地打动了我。阅读过程磕磕绊绊，我有太多的不懂。但是，探寻的过程趣味盎然，绝对值得。
