E.F.舒马赫（1911-1977），知名的经济学者和企业家，曾与凯恩斯和J.K.加尔布雷思共事。他出任过英国驻德管制委员会的经济顾问，在1950至1970年间担任英国国家煤炭局的局长，也是适用于发展中国家的中间技术概念的原创者，曾担任斯科特·巴德公司的总裁。
