W. B. Yeats was Romantic and Modernist, mystical dreamer and leader of the Irish Literary Revival, Nobel prizewinner, dramatist and, above all, poet. 评分糅合了浓烈爱尔兰民族风的神话历史和传说，骨子里却是传统保守的浪漫主义。好多的典故不了解，读诗困难。还是会喜欢那些清新隽永的小情诗。
