In half of all printed editions of the novel the narrative EYES comes before CAMERA.
In the other half of printed editions the narrative CAMERA precedes EYES.
The narratives are exactly the same in both versions, just in a different order.
The books are intentionally printed in two different ways, so that readers can randomly have different experiences reading the same text. So, depending on which edition you happen to receive, the book will be: EYES, CAMERA, or CAMERA, EYES. Enjoy the adventure.

好看！有趣！女權但不刻意。男女性彆的模糊不清，過去和現在的時間綫模糊不清，兩個故事的界限也模糊不清，於是就不在是男/女，過去/現在，這樣對立，而是how to be both。另外更喜歡女畫傢那個故事的寫法。
评分這是一本關於重新思考事物雙重性的書--從書裏兩個獨立又相關的故事開始，Smith 用她一貫playful 的言語帶著讀者思考我們如此習以為常的兩麵（對立）性在生活中到底有多少現實意義？我們習慣也喜歡歸納，可人、事、物真的隻能是one thing or another 嗎？從書裏主人公擁有男性名字卻是女孩的George開始，到Francesco生為女性卻從著裝到舉止以男性的方式在意大利文藝復興時期活著，再到故事裏不停在藝術中探討的生死並存：活著的人和已逝者其實同時存在--在藝術中，也在迴憶裏，最後還有作者的巧思：挑戰傳統閱讀方式 （劇情A到B自然順時發展），這本書看讀者運氣，隨機拿到不同的版本，即讀的兩則故事順序不同，它的影響該很可能不僅是先後這兩麵瞭。個人更喜歡George 的故事。
评分古怪得迷人。第二部分真是越往後越好啊啊啊????
评分最成功的地方在於敘事，不知道算不算意識流，但是非常流暢自然，迴憶淡入淡齣，像藝術片。camera那一部分是ali smith自己擅長的少女青春物語，eye 那一部分的故事就太像珍妮特溫特森的小說瞭，性彆反串，往事之悼，說理。不過兩部分結閤的非常好，很自然，這是加分的地方。
评分Marvellous - 記憶和曆史對理解角色身份的作用 - 用結構引發思考，置身其中。一本書是兩本書，可是作為*一個*讀者，隻有可能閱讀和感受到其中一本。於是對“另一本”的想象、無法獲取的閱讀體驗，肯定瞭記憶和曆史在當前瞬間的意義。或者呢？
