雖然讀來頗有啓發，所舉之例也大體有趣。但內中一些例子真是凸顯美國社會對亞裔明目張膽的歧視態度，讓人十分不舒服。

kinda illuminating

Creative writing is not what I do everyday, I still enjoy this book. One psychologist used to say that literature, art, history and psychology all study human nature, only psychology uses the scientific method. I think he is right. And this book makes me appreciates how creative writers wants to say about human nature.

讀完我改成四星。因為她說齣瞭藝術創作者的做夢者和造夢者的空洞本質。這個不能原諒。

寫小說的人要看。拿起來就想構思一個故事，一個主角，一些場景。好作傢不靠天賦靠自律。

这个书名很招人喜欢，一看到副标题便觉眼前一亮，让人一下子记住了，忍不住猜测它的含义。 “一只鸟接着一只鸟”的由来：“三十年前，我的哥哥十岁，第二天得交一篇鸟类报告。虽然他之前有三个月的时间写这份作业，却一直没有进展。当时他坐在餐桌前，周围散置着作业簿...
