I should say, first of all, that I have absolutely no criticisms to make of this book. It is perfect, and I'm not just saying that because I practically memorized it at the age of 13 and it was one of my primary illicit sources of sexual information in the gap between information and experience, and I therefore view it with fond nostalgia.... However melodramatic its plot may be, Valley of the Dolls is simply old-fashioned riveting.

在加拿大camping的时候开始看，假期结束前看完了。一开始真的以为是傻白甜勇闯美国娱乐圈的故事啊，没想到最后20页当童话通常完美结束的时候忽然急转直下，难怪难怪！特别适合现在的中国女孩子，特别是年轻女孩子，哪怕是根本不读书的年轻女孩子，读一读。
