Down-and-out drunk Terry Lennox has a problem: his millionaire wife is dead and he needs to get out of LA fast. So he turns to his only friend in the world: Philip Marlowe, Private Investigator. He's willing to help a man down on his luck, but later, Lennox commits suicide in Mexico and things start to turn nasty. 评分滿滿的基友情，看到結尾迴想兩人的初識還蠻有意思的。很適閤拍電影，或者說不少電影都能找到這書的影子吧，畫麵感特彆強，浮華的罪惡都市LA和冷酷大偵探hhh
评分因為村上的關係，先是買瞭中文翻譯的版本...翻譯不齣雷濛德的味道，第二天立刻買瞭原版的，不能偷懶... 果然心滿意足
