西濛·詹金斯（Simon Jenkins，1943年10月—）

英國曆史學傢、評論傢、專欄作傢、暢銷書作傢。他曾齣版17部圖書作品，內容涵蓋曆史、政治、建築等，《英格蘭簡史》是其全新力作。

詹金斯爵士畢業於英國牛津學，修習哲學、政治和經濟學，後為《衛報》《泰晤士報》《標準晚報》《金融時報》《赫芬頓郵報》等撰寫專欄。2004年元旦，詹金斯由於其對新聞業的傑齣貢獻被英國國王授予爵士稱號。自2008年起，詹金斯爵士被委任為英國國傢信托基金會（the National Trust）主席。

a short history of English dynasties alternation. Mainly focus on the monarchs and PMs. Such a little book with 300 pages can't figure out much issues in the history. The author's skating over of many significant events just led to more confusion. Thus only thing you can get from the book probably is the dynasties alternation.
