评分在很多地方，作者用瞭前現代的權力關係隱喻去闡釋事件，大概有誤導人的嫌疑。而寫到憲法第九條的來曆時，作者將各說法中很關鍵的一個——“幣原說”斥為是“老人常見的錯誤記憶”，兩句話就帶過，作者這種做法讓人覺得不是很可靠。不過總體而言，讀這本書還是挺有收獲的。
