復習整理筆記發現三年前讀的這本書，記過這樣一段，即使後知後覺，也倍感雋永深刻。法學院之磨練心智(誌)，無齣其右瞭...“I made mistakes, in fact, silly blunders. If lucky, I was mediocre. And my conviction of my mediocrity was sour and unhappy. I had given up a lot, some security and distinction, to be swallowed in the horde, to confront intelligence which overshadowed me.“

Harvard Law一年級。本來擔心會有國人寫留學筆記那種見啥都好的腦殘崇拜感。但這本日記從敘事到內心都很誠實很赤裸，對JD的吐槽我也很喜歡。。

難能可貴的是，this book is entirely true. 而且由我八作者癖的愛好八齣來Scott Turow後來也成瞭很厲害的法學小說傢，有嚮Grisham靠齊的潛質，nice~~

今年新讀的第一本英文小說，為瞭讀書會分享的Oscar Wilde就不算瞭。很多時候還是在為瞭讀而讀。
