著者簡介

約翰·齊曼（1925-2005），知名理論物理學傢和科學技術學傢。他在牛津大學獲得哲學博士學位後在劍橋大學任教，1964年成為布裏斯托爾大學理論物理學教授，1967年因金屬電特性的研究而當選為英國皇傢學會會員。1982年後長期緻力於科學技術的社會關係、科學技術學的係統分析和研究，成為國際上公認的權威學者。齣版有《電子與光子》、《公眾知識——科學的社會維度》、《可靠知識——科學中信念之基礎探索》、《關於科學與社會的教學與研究》、《科學學導論》、《一心一意——科學的集體化》等十餘部著作。
