记得第一次看此书时，真是有够恐怖的，我一般不太喜欢看恐怖的作品。不过此书委实太有“名”了，是久经流行的吸血鬼作品的祖师，所以也就硬着头皮看下去了。前半部份很惊悚，后半部就没什么了。而此次阅读连恐怖感都没什么了。这与推理作品类似，在知道结局后再阅读之下吸引力...

Good suspension building in the beginning but dragged too long and lost its charm. Cliché ending with a dramatic but unnecessary death. Interesting reference to blood giving as if anyone can give blood to anyone else, reminding the reader of medical knowledge in the Victorian Era. A solid story considering the style and taste of the period.

评分不愧是吸血鬼文学鼻祖，现代的渣渣文都是什么玩意儿。有些地方还蛮吓人的。
评分英文有声书。写得真是啰嗦，但是还挺好看。作为写吸血鬼的开山鼻祖，很多设定真是挺不错。为了那个年代的创意加一颗星。
评分书，很有感觉，电影拍的像情色片。
