开始读John McGahern的长篇，Amongst Women是他比较晚期的作品，好像写了一位爱尔兰老人的一生，但留下许多空白，炉火纯青的将日常戏剧化，从一切平凡的生活细节里不断流淌出耐人寻味的复杂情感，没有大喜大悲，淡淡的欢愉淡淡的悲伤淡淡的失落，和偶尔爆发的愤怒，so touching. McGahern的小说有种隐藏极深的诗意。

虽然都说是McGaherm最好的作品 但总感觉普通 看之前还会以为会像安哲的电影
