A tragedy of self-confinement

情節荒誕，文采甚好。

Giovanni's Room讀得我好悲傷，Baldwin太會寫傷害瞭，雖然這部沒有Another Country構架飽滿、反思深刻，但是那皮開肉綻撕裂的疼痛慢慢露齣給你看，讓你心疼的同時又從不美化任何角色。作為人的弱點、殘忍、自私、無力和厭煩都平平坦坦得放在那兒，恨也恨不起，愛也不能全身心愛，隻是在腦中再不離去。
